TradeWeft was founded on a simple premise: exceptional financial advice shouldn't be reserved for institutions. Our name reflects our approach—carefully weaving together market data, behavioral insights, and personalized strategy into a cohesive plan that stands the test of time.
TradeWeft was founded in 2011 by Sarah Chen and Marcus Webb, two investment professionals who met at a large institutional asset manager. They shared a frustration: the best investment thinking was locked behind institutional walls, inaccessible to the individuals and families who needed it most.
They set out to build a different kind of advisory firm—one that combined institutional-grade research and portfolio construction with the personal attention and fiduciary commitment of a boutique. The name "TradeWeft" reflects their vision: the warp threads of capital, carefully woven with the weft threads of conviction and discipline.
Today, TradeWeft serves over 500 families across the United States, managing more than $4.2 billion in assets. We remain fiercely independent, employee-owned, and committed to the principles that guided our founding.
Your interests always come before ours. We are legally and ethically bound to act in your best interest—always.
